My cat Walpurgisnacht is 19. She was born on Walpurgis Eve, 4-30-1993 in my next door neighbor & friend Vicki’s window well. The next day, Beltane (May 1st) Vicki told me about the meowings she heard over the night and we went to look together. Unfortunately, all of the babies but one were dead, the mother did not make it back soon enough after giving birth and they were too cold and died. The one nestled in the middle I took in. I fed her with kitten milk replacer and a teeny tiny bottle and she slept on a warm water bottle covered in a blanket. The vet said she probably wouldn’t make it but she did. At the time my daughter was 6 months old so I had two babies! My cat of course doesn’t like to take photos and she doesn’t come to the call of a name but a series of cat sounds I learned from her and make to her. She knows who her mama is ;) She even says Mama which is funny to hear. Usually when she wants to be lifted up on the sink to get a drink from the tap. Happy 19th Birthday Walpurgisnacht xoxo!

My Father celebrated his 80th Birthday. 80! Here he is teasing because you know he is “39 like Jack Benny”. Oh no, I put the wrong candles on?? I think not!
